Ozone & Microarray Application

The Ozone Interceptor
(Interceptor) is designed to eliminate problematic ozone levels from
ambient environments. In cooperation with research facilities using
Cy-3 and Cy-5 dies in microarrays, we have developed of method for
eliminating the undesired effects that ozone can have during the dye
drying process. |

Use with
Plexiglas Chamber:
 | As the pictures to the right show,
a recirculating method can be used within a Plexiglas chamber to protect the
micro-array slides (Figure 1). |
| The Interceptor can also be used as
an ozone free air supply for the chamber (Figure 2). |

Other
Applications:
| The Interceptor can be used in
large areas with sensitive machines by placing the unit’s outlet directly
toward the sensitive equipment. This with allow for an ozone free area
around the equipment to ensure optimum operation. |
| The Interceptor can be used to
eliminate the ozone off-gassing produced by some machines. The inlet can be
placed near the source of ozone production for complete ozone elimination. |
